HE Zopa Rinpoche visits Jangsa Shelter

“Saving even one animal can create good karma for all sentient beings but Jangsa has saved thousand and thousands. The work of Jangsa is even greater than that of the powerful leaders of America or Russian. So please keep it up!!!” – HE Zopa Rinpoche

His Eminence Zopa Rinpoce, an ardent animal welfare advocate and global Buddhist master, visited the premises of the Jangsa Animal Shelter in Serbithang, Thimphu.

Rinpoche graced the premises and made vast aspirations for the benefit of all sentient beings and in particular for all the voiceless animals in the world.

Rinpoche, from his considerable experiences from all over the world, imparted many precious instructions, guidance and words of inspiration to the philosophy and activities of Jangsa.

In Rinpoche’s words – “Bhutan is a very special and sacred land – not just because people have taken refuge in the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha but also because Bhutanese possess innate bodhichitta – without which nobody gets enlightened.”

In parting tendrel Rinpoche made a donation of $ 5000 to support the vast work and aspirations of Jangsa and Lama Kunzang Dorje Rinpoche.
