Jangsa is a non-profit charitable organization in Bhutan. The aim of Jangsa is to establish, maintain and advocate the Buddhist practice of saving the lives of animals and maintaining them in humane shelters.
Jangsa exhibits compassionate and humane interventions to uplift the plight of suffering animals and foster a compassionate ethos of adequate conditions such as food, water and medical facilities for all the animals in the kingdom. Jangsa aspires to preserve and promote our precious spiritual heritage by imbuing, embodying and cultivating a culture of Bodhicitta through saving animal lives within Bhutan as a living tradition of a Dharma Kingdom, to be exemplified to the world at large.
